WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE HAVE FOR YOU

Swords basketball club was founded in 1989.  Over the years the club has built itself up to the point of being able to field 15 teams this season.  We offer junior and senior level underage team opportunities for boys and girls.  To date we have produced twelve international players, a further seventy or so have represented their county/province over the years.  Also this season for adults we have Senior Ladies (Division 1) and Senior Men (Division 1 and 4) teams. 

BEGINNERS

We also have a Beginners Group with Eilis O'Meara.  This is for children aged 6 to 10 years who want to try out basketball. A pay as you pay fee of €5 is payable per beginner's session.  Join Eilis at Rolestown at NOON (session lasts 1 hour). 

OUR BASES

The club is based in two locations at the new Rolestown NS where we train/play on Monday (8-10pm), Wednesday (7-10pm), Friday (7-10pm) and through the day on Saturday (10-3pm).  Our other base is at ALSAA, Dublin Airport where we play all our underage home matches usually on Sunday afternoons (2-7pm) but also on Wednesday nights for our senior teams (9-11pm).  Saturday is a training day here also from (10am-6pm).
